​Archery Taster Sessions

Suitable for:
  • Participants aged 5 – 17 years old
  • Minimum 10 participants per session
  • Up to 16 participants per session
  • Minimum 1-hour sessions
  • Our venue (G20 9ED)

What we Provide:
  • Basic safety briefing and archery instruction
  • All necessary equipment
  • Plenty of target practice
  • The number of instructors provided by us will vary depending on the age and number of participants.

What we Need from You:
  • We require at least one youth group leader to be present during the session in case of injury.
  • If an injury does occur and the group leader needs to leave the venue with the injured party, we will require another leader to take their place.
  • For children under 10 years old we may require the youth group to provide additional supervising adults. If this is not possible, there may be an additional charge for us to supply more instructors.

Price:
Youth groups with 10 – 16 participants = £16/hour per shooting station
​(e.g. 10 participants for 1 hour = 2 shooting teams of 5 participants each so, price: £16 x 5 = £80)

Other Events

Archery Sessions

  • Our venue (indoors) or yours (outdoors – subject to risk assessment)

  • Up to 10 participants per round of shooting

  • No minimum age but participants must be able to shoot our weakest bow (12lbs) and be able to follow the safety instructions.

  • Children under 10 years old may require one to one supervision while shooting and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult while within the designated archery area.

  • The number of instructors provided by us will vary depending on the approximate expected ages and numbers of participants.
Fencing Sessions

  • Your venue (indoors or outdoors) or ours (G20 9ED)
 
  • Foam/rubber swords available for younger children/shorter activity time (jump in and out) – masks not essential but recommended, up to 12 participants at any one time
 
  • Plastic swords available for younger children/shorter activity time (structured activity) – masks essential, up to 24 participants at any one time
 
  • Epees (metal swords) available for older children and adults. Minimum 1-hour sessions preferred, and full fencing kit required. Up to 24 participants per session.

  • You may be required to provide additional supervision for structured activities (plastic and/or metal fencing) depending on expected/planned group sizes.
Price:
Full Day (8 hours activity time) £1000
Half Day (4 hours activity time) £500
Price includes set up and take down time but not travel costs.
